About
The Prospect High School Theatre Department is more than just a drama club—it is a vibrant, pre-professional community dedicated to the craft of storytelling. We pride ourselves on fostering an environment where students can take creative risks, master technical skills, and find their voice both on and off the stage.
Theatre as CTE
What sets Prospect High School apart is that our theatre program is a formally recognized Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathway for both those interested in performance and those interested in the backstage side. This means our students
aren't just putting on a show, they are gaining industry-standard skills that translate directly to the workforce. As part of the CTE Pathway we are proud to provide students experience with:
-
Industry Professionals: We host workshops with guest coaches and local industry professionals to provide students with a current perspective on the entertainment business.
-
Technical Mastery: Students work with professional-grade equipment, learning the software and hardware used in modern venues and film sets.
